Hi, I'm Heather 

My life has taken me on a very different path than I expected as a writer...

I have been writing since I first learned my alphabet and I fell in love with stories and books way before that.
I never did take my English Teachers advice and stick to being a creative writer. I was too 'practical' for that!

I have used my writing skill in other ways - writing for business and tech. I was a developer and leader in IT Consultancy for too many years to mention and now freelance as ghost writer, UX writer, copywriter and content creator. 

I am also a certified business and life coach and trainer of NLP, personal development, coaching, Intuitive creativity, writing and tech. NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) allows me to add a different level to your creative writing skills. It is the mastery of communication, excellence and understanding of human behaviour. You can use these additional skills to add depth to your characters, engage your readers and master metaphor.

As an Accidental Writer, I have a good background in online/digital marketing and content creation and am honing my skills with a range of additional courses, the current being Advanced Copy-writing - which includes many of the same skills (and more) as Creative Writing.
